“Dancing on the Edge" is about the joyful sounding out of limits and possibilities in one's own and shared dance. On the level of movement technique as well as improvisation and encounter, new fields are to be discovered and the scope of play expanded.
We explore the threshold between surrender and control, play with balance and experience how incredibly stimulating it can be when we are moved by gravity and go into navigation mode at the same time.
Deep listening and the intelligent handling of our own weight results in an extremely precise quality of movement, which in turn allows us to flow with pleasure in lifts, to glide down from other people's shoulders or pelvis without fear, or simply to enjoy the balance point at an airy height - without knowing when, where and how the shared movement will continue.

All these principles can already be practiced intensively in solo - e.g. via small dance, falling from safe heights or via rebound, which gives us the energy for the upward movement. In the dances with our partners these qualities are potentiated, as living, moving and feeling bodies find each other and dare to dance together into the unknown.
Besides the joyful research and learning, we will also spend a lot of time with free, authentic dancing in different constellations and with nourishing bodywork.

For participants with experience in CI and the curiosity to surrender to gravity, momentum and dancing together and at the same time to help shape it.
